Ermis Panagiotopoulos is Head of Sustainability Advocacy for EMEA at Indorama Ventures, one of the world's leading producers of recycled PET. Based in Brussels, he works at the intersection of policy, industry and sustainability, translating ambitious environmental goals into practical regulatory outcomes. He serves on the boards of EUROPEN and RECOUP, and chairs the Advocacy Working Group at PETCORE EUROPE. With two decades of experience spanning NGOs, the European Commission and industry associations, Ermis brings a cross-sector perspective that is rare in the packaging and recycling policy space. His expertise covers circular economy, packaging regulation, waste policy and EU regulatory frameworks.
